Mr. Chikolwa is an Independent Consultant with over 30 years of post-qualifying experience mostly obtained from the financial services industry in Zambia. He has held various senior roles in Zambia over the years, including that of Chief Executive Officer for Zambia national Building Society, Stanbic Zambia Limited, ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc and Lusaka Securities Exchange. He was prior to joining the Lusaka Securities Exchange, an Executive Director for Corporate & Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Zambia Plc.
Currently Mr. Chikolwa is a Non-Executive Independent Director on the boards of British American Tobacco Zambia Plc, Goldman Insurance Limited, Prudential Pensions Management Limited, Zambia Cargo and Logistics and Ecobank Zambia Limited.
Mr. Chikolwa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Zambia, a master’s degree in finance from University of Wales and Manchester Business School, an Associate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Bankers UK (now known as the London Institute of Banking and finance LIBF UK) and a Financial Studies Diploma from the LIBF.
Mr. Chikolwa is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) of Zambia, a member of the Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) and is a Fellow of both the LIBF UK and the Zambia Institute of Banking and Financial Services (ZIBFS).
An ardent environmentalist Mr. Chikolwa is the current President of the Wildlife and Environmental Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ).
